Crane Essence is a journey of two artistic souls expressing their abiding affection for the Sandhill Cranes, the endangered Whooping Cranes and the bountiful gifts of nature. Cynthia and Tricia capture, with brush strokes and words, the magical, spiritual and soulful essence of the cranes that so deeply touch the human heart and imagination around the world.

Their message of hope and renewal calls upon one and all to honor God’s good earth and to care for His creations.

This is the fourth creative collaboration between artist Cynthia Duff and poet Tricia Moon-Beem: Prairie Meditations (2006), Kindred Spirits (2008), Here’s to You Cheers to Me (2010) and Crane Essence (2011).
