Desert Bliss

At the inception of the Bent Wood era, Cynthia began fracturing her landscapes. The designs from her bent wood projects meshed with her landscapes, creating the fracturing technique. She introduced a beam of light as a spiritual focal point within the painting. Fracturing leads the eye through the painting. This creates the illusion of different times of day and movement within the painting.
