Cynthia’s whimsical characters developed as a result of delightful experiences with friends and family. The first piece celebrates local Colorado animals dancing and enjoying each other’s company. This was selected to be the poster for the Colorado Mountain Wine fest and spawned a series of paintings and a book in collaboration with her poet friend, Tricia Moon-Beem.
